Through a grant from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, ASME-ITI is convening a workshop to address the challanges of continued operation of the current nuclear plants at high performing levels through 2030 and beyond.  Focus areas include:

• Financial/Investment decisions
• Pressure vessel irradiation embrittlement
• Licensing and regulation
• General aging and degradation
• Obsolescence/Modernization
• Repair/Replacement Options
• Enabling Technologies-Development of better analytical tools
• Safety and security
• Spent fuel storage
